PRESERVING YOUR DIGNITY AND FUTURE - HON. COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED.
PRESERVING YOUR DIGNITY AND FUTURE - HON. COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED.
In a world where justice and freedom are not always easily granted, it is crucial to remember the words of Malcolm X: "No one is going to give you Justice, no one will give you freedom.
If you are a man, take it."
These powerful words serve as a reminder that ultimately, it is up to us as individuals to stand up for our rights, preserve our dignity, and secure our own future.
There are certain responsibilities that fall squarely on our shoulders, tasks that only we can fulfill for ourselves.
No man or woman will do for us what is ultimately our duty to do.
This includes safeguarding our dignity, ensuring our future, and securing our tomorrow.
It is through our own actions and decisions that we can truly take control of our lives and shape our own destinies.
Self-reliance is not just about independence, but also about empowerment.
By taking ownership of our responsibilities and actively working towards our goals, we not only ensure our own well-being but also inspire others to do the same.
When we stand up for ourselves and assert our rights, we send a powerful message that we are worthy of respect and equal treatment.
So, remember, no one is going to do for you what you can and should do for yourself.
Take charge of your life, preserve your dignity, secure your future, and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow. As Malcolm X wisely stated, "If you are a man, take it."
It is up to each one of us to stand up, take action, and fight for what is rightfully ours.
Let us embrace self-reliance, embody resilience, and work towards a future where justice and freedom are not just ideals but realities for all. Our dignity, our future, and our tomorrow depend on it.
No man would do for you that which is your duty to do for the preservation of your dignity.
For the preservation of your future, for the preservation of your tomorrow.
"No one is going to give you Justice, no one will give you freedom.
If you are a man, take it."
Don't fight with gun when you can fight with the Truth and courage, and still win. Peaceful and nonviolent struggle will give you what violence can never offer you.
Mischief makers are never afraid of guns and violence because they have a lot of them.
But they are always threatened by the truth especially when it is boldly spoken.
There is victory and sometimes sacrifices that must be made once you stick with the truth as your weapon of liberation.
Reputation is the celebrity we admire in the mirror.
Character is the person who follows us everywhere. Reputation is our public image- what we want other to think.
Character is our secret actions, words, and thoughts -what we really are.
Mathematically speaking, reputation, is character minus the flaws we try to hide. Character is our real person, reputation is our shadow.
We often mar our character by protecting our reputation, but God builds our character by smashing our reputation. When character is developed, reputation takes care of itself.
Wisdom!
You came naked
You will leave naked
You came without anything
You will leave without anything
You arrived weak
You will leave weak
We will all go empty handed.
All material things we have earned in this life we will leave behind.
The only thing that will go with you, that you actually earned here is the love you shared, the compassion you showed, the humbleness, your gratitude, your helpfulness, your kindness, and your steadfastness in promoting truth and justice in the society.
That is the legacy you will leave behind.
Soon we all will become memories, make sure you are a nice one.
You cannot fulfil your potential as a human being if you lack the ability to work with people you do not like. God has structured this world in such a way that those you dislike will have something you like, and you will have something that your haters love.
The ability to work with your naysayers is diplomacy.
But where you believe that working with your haters is sycophancy, pride will never let you reach the height of your potential.
Look, if you own a restaurant and you want to sell food to only your friends, you will go out of business quickly.
If your enemy is hungry and has money, feed him and bill him like a slay queen bills a man controlled by his libido!
In politics we don't talk about trust but interest. We only trust those that protect our interests and especially those that promote justice for all. Once your interest is against the interest of the people that trust you, even if they are your brothers from the same community, they may choose to go against you without thinking twice. Hence we must be mindful of taking people we need in the political arena for granted.
If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together with your people.
Embracing Scars as Symbols of Strength and Resilience!
We all carry scars, some visible on our bodies, others hidden deep within our souls.
These scars serve as reminders of the battles we've fought and the challenges we've overcome.
While scars never truly fade away, they no longer cause the same pain they once did.
Scars are not signs of weakness but of courage and perseverance.
They signify that we have faced struggles and emerged victorious.
Each scar tells a story of survival, resilience, and triumph.
They are a testament to our strength and our ability to overcome adversity.
In life, every winner carries scars.
These scars are not marks of defeat but of victory. They are a symbol of growth, resilience, and determination. We are all winners in our own right, each scar representing a battle fought and won.
Instead of letting our scars define us, let us embrace them as a part of our journey. Let them be a symbol of our strength, our resilience, and our ability to overcome.
Our scars do not dictate our future; they simply show where we have been, not where we are headed.
Let us celebrate our scars as symbols of our growth, our strength, and our triumph.
They remind us that we are not defined by our past but by our ability to rise above it.
Embrace your scars, for they are a symbol of your journey from wounds to wisdom, from pain to power.
You are a star, thanks to the scars you carry.
May we always remember that scars do not define us; they empower us to shine brighter and soar higher. Embrace your scars, for they are a testament to your strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Let your scars be a symbol of your triumph and a reminder that you are a winner in the game of life.
