HON. COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED SHOCKED BY THE SUDDEN PASSING OF SHAIKH ABDULLATEEF (SHAIKH MUFTI YAKS; OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO JUSTICE MAYAKI (RTD)

 ...A Great Loss to Muslim World

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed, former aide to Kwara State Governor, expresses deep sorrow at the unexpected demise of a young scholar, Shaikh Abdullateef, popularly called Shaikh Mufti Yaks, who tragically passed away early hours of today, on June 1st, 2024.
I was able to be part of those that witness his Janaazah today @ Kpakungu Muslim Burial ground around 9:45am, he was the son of former Niger State Chief Judge, Justice Mayaki (Retired)

This is a great loss to the people of Niger State, Nigeria and Islamic World. 

I extends my heartfelt condolences and words of solace to the grieving father, former CJ, Niger State, Justice Mayaki Retired, the mother and my colleague, Hajia Mariam Mayaki, the Executive Governor of Niger State, His Excellency, Alhaji Umar Bago and entire Mayaki's family and good people of Niger State, emphasizing that Shaikh Mufti Yaks lived a life of peace and served as a shining example for others to follow, especially among the Muslim Ummah.
While urging the family to find comfort in Shaikh Mufti Yaks's impactful legacy, Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed prays to Allah to grant the departed soul eternal peace.

 He also asks for divine strength for both the immediate and extended families to endure this profound loss.
