The All Progressive Congress APC Stalwart and Immediate Past Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Kwara Central to Governor of Kwara State, Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulkarnaini Gambari CFR, and the entire Muslim Ummah all over the World on this year occasion of Edil-Fitri celebration, urging the Citizens to imbibe virtues of peace, love and unity thought by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should reflect in their life style of all for a better society.

Congratulating the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and the World for witnessing another Edil-Fitri celebration after thirty day (30) fast of holy month of Ramadan, amid and hope and embedded desire to lead positive life.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed admonished the people to continue to promote peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance and national unity, among other virtues that will ensure accelerated progress and socioeconomic development of the State and nation at large.

Hon. Comrade Ahmed also called on Nigerian Muslims to renew their commitment to the principle of Islam so that they could maintain the high philosophical standards of honesty, discipline, faithfulness, contentment and sacrifice to enable them contribute meaningfully to the peace, prosperity and progress of Kwara State and the nation at large.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed emphasized that the values of tolerance, sacrifice and love for Almighty Allah and fellow human beings are more relevant and necessary than ever before in the nation and the world today, stating that everyone has a stake in a peaceful and prosperous society where they could live, earn their livelihoods, worship their creator in different ways and realize the reason for their existence, he said#
