Say "No nation can rise above the standard of it's Teachers"

Today, being 5th, of October, is a day set aside to celebrate the immense contributions of Teachers to nation building the World over.

The World Teachers' day 2023 will celebrate Teachers with the theme:

"The Teachers we need for the Education we want: The global imperative to reverse the Teacher shortage."

The day provides the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession World Wide, take stock of achievements , and draw attention to the voices of Teachers, who are the heart of efforts to attain in the global education target of leaving no one behind.

The Former Special Assistant on to the Governor of Kwara State on Poverty Alleviation Kwara Central, Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed in his usual convivial nature, facilitates with Kwara Teachers and extols their values and contributions to making a State of Harmony a knowledge - based society.

Former Special aide said with the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on education, and the target of leaving no one behind, recognition and appreciation of teachers are key to the achievement of the Education 2030 agenda.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed stressed that World Teachers day (WTD) has become the occasion to mark progress and reflect on ways to counter the remaining challenges for the promotion of Teaching profession.

Former Special aide noted that the contribution of teachers to the growth and development of nation can not be over emphasized, hence the need for teachers to be properly trained and retained in order to be effective and efficient in their service delivery.

This is particularly so because no nation can rise above the standard of it's Teachers, he enthused.

Therefore, there is need for teachers to be appreciated and rewarded commensurate for their service because as the saying goes "a labourer is deserving of his wages."

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed is particularly happy for Kwara State Teachers due to the fact that they are opportune to have a Governor who is very passionate about Education.

His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) is a man sent by God to develop Kwara State in not even on Education sector alone , but all the sectors in the with his wisdom, he has prioritized Education as a key resource in revamping the economy of the State, he noted.

The Former Special aide, Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed used the occasion to thank my Leader, Boss and Mentor, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) for his leadership and unparalleled investment in Education sector in the State.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed said "no State in Nigeria as of today can match his Education reforms and programs, he opined.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed hails Teaches in the State for embracing the digital means of teaching and learning introduced by the State Governor, His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) as demonstrated in their resilience and commitment to human development, which is exemplified in their seamless adoption of the technology.

Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed, wishing the highly motivated, spirited and dedicated Teachers if Kwara State a hitch free celebrations.
