COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED MOURNS SHAIKH SHUAIB ABDULSALAAM (IMAM MARABA): A GREAT LOSS TO ISLAMIC WORLD

 I was shocked and saddened to hear the death of one of our humble Father, renowned Islamic Scholar, Fadhilatu Shaikh Shuaib Abdulsalaam (Imam Maraba) who passed away early hour of today Wednesday, 5th, January, 2022.

Jannazah prayer of the deceased will come up @ Onikanhun's compound, Oniyangi, Emir's Road, Ilorin by 2pm.
Late Shaikh Shuaib Abdulsalaam "was a symbol of visionary leadership, he touches many lives directly or indirectly through his phenomenal leadership style when he was alive".

He was such an epitome of genuine leader who leaves no stone unturned in giving excellent leadership and unparalleled good governance to his people and community when he was alive.
"He played a significant role in his Community in making sure anybody around him is given equal priority irrespective of their status, religion or background".

Late Shaikh Shuaib Abdulsalaam was a loving and caring Father to all his children, grand children , families, communities and entire Kwara State at large.

 He is composed intellectual, a devoted Muslim and advocate of moderation and open-minded, a God fearing man, easy going and epitome of peace and humility.

I commiserates with the entire family of the Shaikh, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Zulkarnaini Gambari CFR, the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Shaikh Imam Bashir, the Imam-Imale of Ilorin, Shaikh Abdulhameed, the entire Ilorin Emirates and Nigeria as a whole for the loss of a great Scholar and Preacher.

He played a significant roles in disputes settling and community issues.

May Almighty Allah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him with Al-Jannatul Fir'daus.
