Commissioner of Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Ashiru Idris, stated this while briefing newsmen at the end of the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House Lokoja.
Ashiru said the Finance and Accounts Departments will also be created in extra-Ministerial departments and parastatals in the state.
According to him, the State Head of Civil Service has been directed to ensure the full compliance of the creation.
Speaking on the twenty twenty-two Budget of Accelerated Result of one hundred and forty-five billion point naira signed into law by the Governor, the Commissioner said it was geared at building on the Budget of Accelerated Recovery of the outgoing year.
Asiru maintained that government was working towards attaining accelerated results in ongoing government projects and programmes for the benefit of the people.
He expressed hope that the Budget will perform better than that of twenty twenty-one which performed at eighty-five percent.
On his part, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Muhammed Onogwu, said the State Executive Council approved the establishment of a Drug and Food Regulatory Agency in the State.
Onogwu said an award of excellence as the Best Performing Governor on security in Nigeria was presented to Governor Yahaya Bello by the Crime Reporters of Nigeria.
