The advent of any leader is a beginning of a new era. A leader distinguished himself by legacy he leaves behind and the true measure of legacy indication is seeing how a leader is breaking and making record. Therefore, it becomes a dismantling of status quo when a leader refuses to do what has been monumentalized and begins to do what is progressive.

There is no gainsaying that criticism is one of the easiest tools of trade in politics and pointing out obvious strides in politics earned one a title of sycophant and bootlicker. Hence, shortcomings and frailty speak louder in politics than a plus and feat. 

This is what makes politics one of the complex mazes that ever exists.   

Hitherto in Kwara State, doing something differently was seen as abnormal and a sacrilege to the elites. So, doing something differently is to declare unending war with those that eternally cling to status quo. Albeit, you need daring gut and life of a cat of nine lives to dare to think of changing the status quo. 

The fundamental “misdeed” of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is his refusal to do what others think is the old political order and for him to dare to be different becomes unforgiveable to the political “demigods”.

 This has breed political urchins and media minions against him; it is the murky political water Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has found himself.

What Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has not done is acceptance of status quo. He refused to aspire less as he creates a new political order where levelling ground for all is enabled. He is an ardent believer in the truism that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. You won’t find in him the trait of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

One of the things Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has not done is to concentrate the dividends of governance in one place. The wanton imbalance you see in Kwara State before the coming of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is the penchant for situating projects meant for all the regions in one region by the erstwhile political rulers. They felt that so long it has become their birth right to rule the State, others can go to hell. 

Let me add this, what he has not also done is to feel that as long as he is safe, others should be on their own. It is unarguable that when it comes to the safety of lives and property in Kwara State, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq stands uncompromising.

He has often times put his life in risk to fight and tame insecurity in Kwara State. It is not surprising that without any security details Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq drives around Kwara State in the dead of the night to have a firsthand security situation in the State.

There is nothing more sublime than seeing a leader with a large heart with a bigger picture in his mind; this is what demarcates GAA as a leader capable of bringing unity, equity, fairness, probity, justice and truth to the fabric body of Nigerian politics.

 It therefore becomes an oratory of the dogs if one attempts to question him why he dares to dream big and do things differently; positively so.

I urge the good people of Kwara State to support God sent Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in all ramification, irrespective of your religion, status, tribe, political affiliation,
