COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED COMMISERATES WITH THE ENTIRE FAMILY OF OLORIEGBE OVER THE DEMISE OF ALHAJA FATIMAH MARONIKE YAHAYA OLORIEGBE (IYA-FUNTUA)

I was shocked and saddened to hear the death of one of our humble Mother late Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe (Iya-Funtua) who passed away early hour of yesterday, Wednesday, 8th, December, 2021 @ age of 95.

Fidau prayer of the deceased will take place In Shaa Allah on Sunday, 12th, December, 2021@ family house, Oloriegbe's Compound ,Alore, Ilorin @exactly 10:00am prompt.

Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe (Iya-Funtua) was easy going woman, God fearing woman,
trust worthy and a philanthropist. 
Late Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe "was a symbol of visionary leadership, she touches many lives directly or indirectly through her phenomenal leadership style when she was alive".

Mama was such an epitome of genuine leader who leaves no stone unturned in giving excellent leadership and unparalleled good governance to her people and community when she was alive.

"Mama aspirations is to be one of the builders of a world of equity, a world where diversity is respected and value for people's lives is paramount".
"She played a significant role in her Community in making sure anybody around her is given equal priority irrespective of their status, religion or background".

Late Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe (Iya-Funtua) was a loving and caring Mother to all her children, grand children , families, communities and entire Kwara State at large.

She is composed intellectual, a devoted Muslim and advocate of moderation and open-minded. 
I commiserates with my father and mentor, Distinguished Senator Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, a Senator representing the good people of Kwara Central and the entire Oloriegbe's family for the demise of our great mother Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe (Iya-Funtua) she cares for all and she is a peaceful mother for all. We shall missed her so much.

Alhaja Fatimah Maronike Yahaya Oloriegbe (Iya-Funtua) played a significant roles in disputes settling and community issues.

She survived by the following children and great-grand children, among them are; Distinguished Senator (Dr) Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe , Hajia Salmat Sagaya, Alhaji Abdurrasheed Oloriegbe, Alhaji Abdulganiyyi Oloriegbe, Barr Abdulmajeed Oloriegbe, and Hajia Sahidat Oloriegbe.

May Almighty Allah SWT forgive all her shortcomings and grant her Al-Jannatul Fir'daus.
