IN PURSUIT OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN NATIONAL BODY OF APC: THE YOUTH DECLARE SUPPORT FOR SALIU MUSTAPHA AS A PREFERRED CANDIDATE FOR THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC)
BY; LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED
The pursuit of good leadership system in National body of our great party All Progressives Congress (APC) is focused on encouraging, trustworthy and competent candidate like the Turaki of Ilorin Emirates, Mallam Saliu Mustapha who is committed to serving in the public interest.
Disenchantment with the present political system especially among the rapidly growing Youth population, make the challenge increasingly urgent.
Lack of trust in the political system have led to disenchantment amongst the electorate, especially we the Youths.
The human cost of bad Governance is evident in the low level of basic infrastructure, weak health care and educational system, high unemployment rate and the number of out--of --school children amongst others.
Across the
Socio - economic class divide, there is a feeling that the effects of bad leadership will catch up with everyone someday.
That is the more reason we the Youths are now declaring support for Mallam Saliu Mustapha as the next National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) so as to have a platform to tackle the root causes of poverty, insecurity, unemployment, human rights abuses and Socio-economic instability through the level of good leadership.
Moving to 2023 general elections, attention must be focused on the overlooked question of who becomes a National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) to achieve these goals.
Over the past five electoral circles since we return to democracy in 1999, less attention has been paid to who becomes a good National Chairman that will always pursue the interest of the members in such a way to write home about, Particularly the quality of people elected as our Representatives both at the Green and Red Chamber of National Assembly.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha is a good grass root mobilizer, a philanthropist, who is set to work on good Governance that will depends solely on building strong institutions that will provide a framework for other politicians to act in the public interest, this also depends on choosing a competent and trustworthy Politician like Mallam Saliu Mustapha who has the capacity and strength of good character to uphold the value of the institution in the first place.
In 2023, we all need to be very careful for so many reasons because elected officials can choose to undermine institution's integrity for self dealing and personal gain.
That is the more reason we the Youths need to demand and elect a political leader who is competent and honest to lead us to Victory come 2023 general election.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha is a politician who has focus in serving his people/members of our great party whole heartedly and with the aim of ensuring accountability.
Ahead of 2023 election, a key issue to consider is what range of mechanism can be implemented to make it more likely that good candidate like Mallam Saliu Mustapha put himself forward for National Chairman of our great party.
We are assuring the entire members of our great party that will remain accountable to those he's elected to serve if only we see reasons why we need to give him our maximum Support.
The race towards improving accountability and good Governance begins now and the power is in our hands.
Our focus should be on supporting the ambition of Candidate like Mallam Saliu Mustapha who is committed to serving in the public interest and building a better Structure for All Progressives Congress (APC) that we all hope to see in 2023 and beyond.
Your support for MSM for National Chairman is a support for progress and advancement of All Progressives Congress (APC) to a greater heights.
