TWO YEARS IN OFFICE; GOVERNOR ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ A PRAGMATIC LEADERSHIP IN KWARA STATE
BY: COMRADE LUKMAN OLUKAYODE AHMED
Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (GAA) ,the Executive Governor of Kwara State is a child of destiny. We have some people created by Almighty God like that.
The National Coordinator of Freedom Network Group ,Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed applauded Kwara State Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for what he described as a Charismatic and Pragmatic leadership style since he assumption of office in May, 29th, 2019.
His gender balance and special interest in Women inclusion in governance , saying it was unprecedented in the life of an administration for Women to be so strategically placed as is the current practice in Kwara State.
The fast pace of Change and National Development in the Countries across the World, especially in Kwara State has been driven by Paradigm transitions towards thinking Globally and Acting Locally.
For the Governor's brave leadership style and security efforts put in place to make one of the Fastest State in the Country.
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has turned around not only the Physical landscape of the State but every other sphere of Public life like Education, Health, Economy, Sports , Infrastructure etc.
The Executive was worried about the rate of doing business with ease . The. Government expanded huge sum on this area to attract investors to do business in the State with minimum fuss.
One of the areas where Governor ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ led Government has made major roads is in the area of Road Construction. More than 121 road projects have been awarded in different parts of the Three (3) Senatorial Districts of the State to ensure equitable development.
Many Roads have been completed while steady progress as being made to complete the rest in appointed time.
The Commercial need centre of the State (Ilorin) is certainly better than it was when Governor ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ Government came to power.
Road hitherto abandoned have received attention and succour came for road users especially owners of medium and small businesses within Ilorin and environs.
The ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ Government has done extensively well on the development of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in the State.
Infact, there are many examples in the Holy Book like King David.
It does not matter how you view such people, it doesn't even matter their capacity or ability, such people operate under SPECIAL grace of Our Creator (GOD)
Let me take u back in 2019, many Kwarans especially the political gladiators never see Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (AA) as an aspirant much less a threat. But through divine arrangement he became Governor of Kwara State.
Today, ask people who live in Kwara State or Google it on your phone, I made bold to say;
√ No Governor in Nigeria has made countless people they refer to as "nobody" somebody like him.
√ No Governor has given priority to Youths and Women in politics ,in appointment like him.
√ Am sure we all know Kwara State is a Youth State.
√ No Governor has supported Youths, Women and dedicated over 65% of his appointment to Youths and Women like him.
There are many achievements in Security, Education, Water Resources, Health, Ethnic/Religious Unity etc. Before you ask me of Infrastructural Development in Kwara State, there many with pictorial evidence but you will agree with me that MOST pressing needs/ problems of our Country Nigeria right now is safety and unity of Nigeria (ns)
There are roads and infrastructures in the Northeast and other parts of the North but insecurity has made it almost impossible to use them.
There are to a reasonable extent, economic growth in the Southeast and other parts of the South but that has not stopped agitation for self- determination.
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (GAA) is the unifier with an unprecedented track records of Youth/Women involvement in governance.
These are some of the roads that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration has completed and some are on going within a short period of time.
