GOVERNOR ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ: THE UNIFYING BRIDGE BUILDER, THE PRIDE OF  KWARA AND THE LEADER OF KWARA APC

The  Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq  is an outstanding, enigmatic and examplary leader.

As a quintessential contemporary leader, he has broken the jinx of  Tribal jingoism, Religious intolerance, Nepotism, and other isms and skisms thus contributing heavily to the evolution of true democracy in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

As an advocate of positive Change, he has blazed the trail in bringing standards to Kwara political leadership landscape for others to follow

As A proactive, Youthful , Visionary, God fearing and futuristic leader, he didn't only foresee and warn timely against the politics of Covid-19 (The Glorified Malaria ) and it's Economic effect (hunger and Protest) of locking down the Country's Economy) that is still at revamping stage because of a disease that has 99.9% recovery chances but also stood his ground despite all pressures to maintain orderly during the lockdown by providing palliatives to the people of Kwara State.

This reminds me of the words of Arnold Glasow:

"One of the tests of a good leader is the ability to foresee a problem, avert, before it becomes an emergency "

Similarly, Mahtma Gandhi has this to say: 

"It is easy to stand in the crowd but it takes courage to stand alone"

As an advocate of Youths, and Women inclusiveness in governance, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has performed wonderfully in good governance by providing infrastructural development to the People of Kwara State.

"The reward for good work is the opportunity to do more".

His inestimable loyalty to his political Father and Mentor, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR his absolute loyalty to the great Party 

APC and his dedication to constitutional duties as the Chief Security Officer of the State  earned him National and International Awards and accolades as the Best Governor of year 2020 on security matter which  translated into rating the State as second Most peaceful State in Nigeria, and 1st in the North Central.

To many political Giants , GAA is a leader of substance whose ground breaking strides within 1 (One) year will for ever remain indelible in the anal of world political and leadership history.

 

GAA's fountains  of political and leadership dexterity and  innovative ideas of Youths and Women, which to him is crucial in achieving good governance, sustainable development and security were the reason for making Youths and Women a critical stakeholders in decision making process of the State.

This is intraderm with Nelson Mandela's postulation, when he says "When the Youths are given the right to live the life of their ages ,they have no option other than to be a sociatal builders but when they are deprived the right to live the life of their age , they have no option than to become an outlaws."

As a  rare Gem, GAA had carved a niche for himself as a dogged and uncompromising fighter for true democracy, justice, honesty, fairness, equity and equality.

He is an indisputable, indefatigable, architect and icon of contemporary politics and a mentor to countless young politicians in Nigeria

 

As a Strategist and Philanthropists, GAA has blazed the trail in bringing standards to politics in Kwara State, as his reach has transformed thousands of underprivileged persons with access to a better life irrespective of tribe, religion and districts.

GAA's stewardship does not only propel Kwara State to the highest pedestal of development, and detribalization but also pull out the State from economic woes.

This illustrates the words of Harvey  S. Firestone:

"The highest calling of a leader is the growth and development of people and the society".

It is a shared consensus by many analysts that GAA is one of the very few leading young  politicians with an appeal that is truly National.

This confirms the words of Martin Luther King Jr. when he says : "A true leader is not a searcher  for consensus but a molder of consensus"

His relationship with grassroots among the Youths, Women, gave him a very strong clout in the many party's electoral success within and outside the State

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has within the past One year of being in the Public spotlight shown that his brand of politics is not defined by any tribal chauvinism or religious imperial 

These power Networks span all shades, tribe  and religion.

In a highly polarized political system such as Kwara State, it is difficult to find such a high profile young politician whose personality strikes the attention of all and sundry across the State like the flash of angle. 

He achieved this , through touching and improving the lives of many as John C. Maxwell maintains that:

 

"Leadership is not about mere Tittle and position but about changing the life of another "

He remains a Model for appropriate political repositioning for Kwara State, especially those who desire to lead at the National level. 

This reminds me of the words of "Ralph Nader when he says:"

  A good leader is one who breads leaders"

He has stood out boldly and championed unbiased views that is not only acknowledged and reflects the growing tensions in parts of the State before his emergence as the Executive Governor of Kwara State, he proffered practical solutions to the  diversity through his Policy which centres on unity in diversity

The bridge builder and an Icon of the contemporary politics.

All hail the unifying Bridge Builder of Kwara State.
