COMRADE LUKMAN O. AHMED MOURNS VETERAN YORUBA ACTRESS, FOLAKE AREMU (ORISABUNMI); WAS A WOMAN OF VIRTUE
The National Coordinator of Freedom Network Group, Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed commiserates with the family of Late Veteran Yoruba Actress, Folake Aremu popularly known as Orisabunmi, and the good people of Kwara State over her shocking death.
She died after a brief illness @ age of 60 years on Tuesday 5th, January, 2021.
In a statement yesterday released by Comrade Lukman O. Ahmed, described the death as “shocking, peering to painful, given her sterling contributions to the development of the Film (Nollywood) industry both in Nigeria and Diaspora.”
The National Coordinator recalls the life of the Late Folake Aremu (Orisabunmi) was a humble and virtue woman , disciplined personality and a role model to many within and outside the Country.
Comrade Lukman O. Ahmed said these and many other reasons made the news of her death even more difficult to take, however, he believes “God gives and takes in line with His Supreme sovereignty which we cannot question His will".
Comrade Lukman O. Ahmed called on the family, friends, colleagues, and good people of Kwara State to continue to pray for her gentle soul, and for the family to grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.
