I convey my hearty congratulations to the newly Council Executive Members and Legislative Members elect across the three local government area's in *Yagba land*, on their  landslide victory recorded in the just concluded council election.

It is indeed a victory for all lovers of true democracy and indeed the good people of Yagba land. This is again a litmus test for our nascent democracy.

The people of Mopa-Muro, Yagba East and Yagba West have indeed shown that we are coming of age and the stage is gradually looking brighter for future elections.

_The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities...It is best to win without fighting._

I can attest that your hard work, consistencies, commitments to the well being of the people around you all has earned you this meritorious victories of all time.

Indeed, the good people of Yagba land has spoken with their votes across the three local government by entrusting you with their mandates to govern them at the grassroot level.

I would also advice that you reciprocate the support given to you by the good people of your locality by making sure that the mandate entrusted on you by the people speaks good of you even after your tenure in office.

Work in accordance with people-oriented programs at the grass-root levels to bring about the much desired catalyst for social and economic development. I urge you all to be magnanimous in victory and the other aspirants should cooperate and work in harmony to hasten development of our dear federal constituency.
