Kogi Council poll: Islamic Scholar canvases for APC in Yagba West

An Islamic Scholar, Usman Isiaka has called on the public to vote for the All Progressive Congress' flag bearer, Mr Pius Kolawole in the forthcoming local council election in Kogi state.

Isiaka made the call in Odo ere on Friday during a meeting held at his residence shortly after the jummat's  service.

He described Kolawole as a perfect candidate  whose experience and antecedents venerates above other candidates.

Speaking further, Mallam Isiaka said, "Yagba west local government area has been a major beneficiary of the new direction government and the local government is an integral part of the state; I urge all Muslim ummas and the people of Yagba west to support the ruling APC in order to attract more development to the local government. Let us vote people that will attract development to Yagba land as a whole".

  No doubt, the people has confidence in the Gov. Yahaya Bello led administration and this confidence will be evidenced in their unanimous vote for Pius Kolawole, Mallam Usman Isiaq Imam concluded.
