HRM (Oba) Moses Babatunde Etombi, was born to the Family of Mr and Mrs Ephraim Etombi in Shendam, Plateau State on 15th of July 1965. 

He was raised by a workaholic grandmother Late Madam Esther Etombi from age 2, he is a product of a native commerce which he learned by assisting his grandmother to hawk twice a day first in the morning and at  noon, the selling of Akara made the young Moses popular among his peers and that assisted him to get enrolled in western education.

 He completed his First School Leaving Certificate and got admitted into the prestigious Titcombe College, Egbe on merit in 1978, although not on the bed of roses as he needed to work during the  holidays to raise his school fees by hawking and doing other menial jobs. 

In 1984, he got admitted into Evangelical Church West Africa now Evangelical church Winning All Health Technology, Kagoro, Kaduna State.

He was the only candidate out of Sixty four *(64)* candidates that wrote the exams in the former ECWA United District Church Council Egbe, he resumed at the Health Technology Kagoro but could not continue due to financial issue , as he could not afford Two thousand naira (#2,000) and he left for Ilorin,Kwara State in order to work and save money for his further studies. 

He was then employed as a salesman in Oluyori Bottling Company, Ilorin Depot, Maker of POLAR drinks from Isanlu, from his savings  he furthered his studies by seeking  admission at the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa then in the old Plateau State where he bagged National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. 

As a student in Nasarawa State Polytechnics ,he was still shuttling Nasarawa to Abuja for jobs just to complete his school. He later settled in Abuja and started his working carrier as Dispatch Driver  with British High Commission and later got employed in Nicon Transcorp Hotel, former Nicon Noga Hotel, Abuja as a Casual Worker for two years before becoming a permanent staff in 1996 as Supervisor in the Front Office. 

His Royal Majesty got married to former Miss Modupe Kadiri in Abuja in the year 1994 and their marriage is blessed with wonderful children. 

His Royal Majesty questing for more knowledge secured vacation to complete his Higher National Diploma in year 2000 at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic, Ikot Osura. He later joined Coscharis Motors Limited a subsidiary of COSCHARIS GROUP, Abuja as a Customer Care Manager in 2006, in the after sales Department and he also worked as Logistics Manager in Sales Department. 

His Royal Majesty did not rest in searching for deeper knowledge, enrolled for Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology at Kaduna Polytechnic which he completed in the year 2011.

During sheer hard working in the Coscharis organization, he was nominated to attend a prestigious course in BMW Academy  in Munich, Germany for Certificate Course in Special Sales Competence in Security and Authority Vehicles in 2013 and 2014 for level 1&2. 

He attended so many courses and seminars during these periods and also received several certificates and awards including Chieftaincy titles. One of it is the Bashorun of Makutu Isanlu. He is an Elder in ECWA Church Goodnews, Kubwa Abuja, Patron of Boys Brigade, Choir, and member of board of Trustee of a Christian Outreach Ministry Christ Oriented Assembly and Rev. Wayo Foundation for Orphan and Widows. 

Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi ,the new Agbana of Isanlu Kingdom  is having a lot of things that God naturally endowed to him.

He is the most educated Oba to ascend the throne of Agbana in Isanlu kingdom.

He is the first selected Oba of Isanlu without external influence,the first Oba to be appointed without Nupe or European nomination or advise.

The process of selection was the most peaceful, most easy ,most transparent, most acceptable and most applauded in the history of Isanlu Kingdom.

Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi is a good administrator who has a sound wisdom and understanding of the Culture, Customs and tradition of Isanlu Kingdom. 

He has visited all the towns and villages that makes up Isanlu kingdom. He is conversant with the peculiarities of each of the Components of Isanlu Kingdom. He can speak, understand and interprets all the proverbs, cognomen and wise sayings in the Land.

 To say that our king is dynamic, pragmatic and resourceful without mentioning his humility, fear of God and loyalty to constituted authorities will not be a complete statement. We have a God sent man on the throne of Isanlu Kingdom.

HRM Oba Moses Babatunde  Etombi is presented for Official presentation of First Class Staff of office as the first Oba to be presented with First Class Staff on the soil of Isanlu Kingdom and Yagba land.

Your Excellencies, Your Royal Majesties and Royal highnesses. The good people of Kogi State, Isanlu Kingdom is the first to have Air strip in the whole of Kogi and Kwara States where Aeroplane first landed.

Isanlu was made the headquarters of Yagba land during the Colonial period 1935 and this Stool of Agbana was highly referenced and adored ,it is that same stool that Our Royal Majesty Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi is  stepping into today, your Excellency. The Royal Father standing before you, Your Excellency, is having Royal Blood running in his vein, it may interest you to note sir, that Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi did not signify interest to be an Oba. We need to let every one here present to know that it is a taboo in Isanlu Kingdom that any one who wishes to become or show interest in becoming an Oba will never become one in Isanlu Land. Ilufemiloba  lole joba ni Isanlu,Obawumi kole joba.

The Elders sought for him, pleaded with him persuaded him, Convinced him before he yielded to our pleas and become the first Abo Gbadi, and first Odaro son from Makutu to become Oba in Isanlu kingdom.

We do not intend to bore you with more historical qualifications and revelations about the Man that God himself has chosen by Himself to lead the people of this Kingdom out of darkness, poverty, segregation ,disunity, apartheid and social injustice to a United Kingdom of Isanlu.

He is  the Moses of our time. And if Aaron was good, definitely Moses will be better.

We therefore present to you, your Excellency HRM Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi for the presentation of the first class of Office as the Agbana of Isanlu Kingdom.
